Meet Our Director 

RGV Technology Institute, LLC was founded in 2022 in Pharr, Texas by Dr. Jorge A. Garcia, a higher education instructor, and an electrical contractor/ Master Electrician with 20 years’ experience. RGV Technology Institute, LLC was created to teach students with employability skills that are required in the electrical industry. Mr. Garcia embarked upon an ambitious idea to establish RGV Technology Institute, LLC which will provide innovated skills and training that will shape current and future generations of electricians for meeting workforce demands. His  educational  and licensures background consist of the following: Ph. D University of North Texas,  M.S., Western Governors University B.S., University of Texas Pan American A.A.S., South Texas College Texas Educator Certificates: Bilingual Generalist-Spanish (4-8), Generalist (4-8), Technology Education (6-12) Certified Instructor, NCCER; Authorized Trainer, OSHA; Craft Instructor, NCCER; Curriculum Proctor  NCCER; Electrical Contractor, TDLR; Master Electrician, TDLR; Industrial Electrician Level VI, NCCER; Curriculum Performance Evaluator, NCCER; Fire Suppression Type K, TFMO
